Flat Foot Stooges is the thirty-fifth Columbia Pictures short subject starring the Three Stooges.
Plot[]
The boys are firemen who use horse-drawn fire trucks. A salesman named Fred Reardon tries to convince the fire chief to buy motorized trucks, which he turns down. Reardon tries to fight back by planting dynamite on a fire engine. A duck consumes some of the gunpowder and lays an egg that sets the fire station on flames. The Stooges show up to put out the fire and save the day, in their usual comical way.

- This is the first film which the theme song for the Stooges opening is "Three Blind Mice." This would later be used for the remainder of the Stooge shorts except for the next short, which uses "Listen to the Mockingbird" for one last time.
- This also the only short use this theme in 1938.
- This is the first of only two Three Stooges shorts to have the episode title and opening credits written in black, the other being We Want Our Mummy.
